Tip To Tip - The Great Florida Traverse

Mon June 1 - Thu December 31

Event: All The Way - 901 Miles

All The Way takes you the full distance, 901 miles from Pensacola to Key West. You'll have 214 days, from June 1st until December 31, to log miles - that works out to 4.22 miles per day, or less than 30 miles per week. You'll follow the route that I would use if I were actually running the distance, using existing roads, staying as close as possible to the Gulf Coast. Part of each entry fee will go to local charities, you'll help keep some local businesses (the medal guy, the shirt guy, the timing guy) in business, and you'll get a really cool medal when you finish! For more information see the FAQ Page.
Registration Limit: 1,497 spots left.

Just The Tip gives you the full flavor of the run without all the distance!. You'll have 92 days, from June 1st until August 31st, to log miles - that works out to 1.4 miles per day, or less than 10 miles per week. You'll follow the route that I would use if I were actually running the distance, using existing roads, from the top to the bottom of the Keys. Part of each entry fee will go to local charities, you'll help keep some local businesses (the medal guy, the shirt guy, the timing guy) in business, and you'll get a really cool medal when you finish! Event: Trek Back to the Mainland -128 Miles

If you've finished Just The Tip, and you want a little more than that ;-), then this is the event for you! This challenge will take you from Mallory Square back to Florida City (and maybe into downtown Miami, just because - or even South Beach in Miami lol), so you can get out of the Florida Keys. You have until the end of December (12/31/2020) to get it done, so plenty of time!

The $30 fee will get you another donation to the charities, as well as another cool Finisher's Medal, but NO extra t-shirt.

To enter this event, please email Race Director Mike Melton at mcmelton57@gmail.com and ask to join, and he will send you the link to enter. This challenge is open to only those who have gotten Just The Tip ;-).
