How To Post Your Miles
Here's how to post your results as you get your miles in!
You'll need to have the number of miles you ran or walked, the time it took you to do those miles, and the date you ran or walked them.
Next, go to the event's RunSignUp page, and click the 'Results' tab at the top of the page:
Next, click on the 'Submit Virtual Results' link, shown here:
Now, you'll be asked to locate your Personal Pofile - you'll do this by entering BOTH your first and last name, OR BOTH your email address and your date of birth:
Once you're in your profile, one more screen will get you to to where you can actually enter your information ;-). Click on 'Submit Virtual Results' as shown here:
You should now be looking at this screen, where you will enter your miles (you can enter decimals to the tenth of a mile, xx.x miles), your time (hours:minutes:seconds), and any comment you wish to add:
Once you've entered your data, you need to Save it, and then you can edit it, or delete it as necessary. You are NOT required to enter mileage every day, although we encourage it as we can all then see everyone's progress updated regularly.
If you need to enter more than one day's worth of mileage, then click on the 'Calendar' icon and choose the date you want, then enter that day's miles and time. Do this for each day you want to enter miles.
IMPORTANT: You can upload MORE than one result each day! If you run in the morning, and then you do more miles later that same day, simply log back in and add in those new miles - doing so will not overwrite your first run/walk miles.
It takes the site about 3 to 4 minutes to update the results, but you can then view your result by clicking on the 'Results' tab at the very top right-hand side of the page. Make sure to choose the event in the dropdown box - either All The Way or Just The Tip - and you'll see the updated results. They'll look something like this:
If you click on your name on the screen you see above, you'll see an expanded Results screen, with lots of information that looks like this:
You have the ability to Print the list of your activities if you wish - it's a nice way to keep a record of what you did!
If you scroll down the page further, you'll see the Course Map, with your Icon on it, showing you where you are on the Course. You can zoom in and, using Satellite view, you can then drag the small yellow 'person' icon from the right-hand side over and drop him on your position, and this will switch the Map to Street view, where you can use the 360-degree icon to spin around and check out exactly what you would be seeing if you were really on the Course:
