2nd Annual Uptown Social 5K

Route: The start/end line will be located on the corner of 9th and Franklin (Next to the Oriental Pearl). Racers will turn left on Pine and use the designated bike lanes as their course. Capt. Loniewski, with the help of Michigan City PD and EMA volunteers, will be posting signage to block off the parking spaces going north down Pine Street to ensure ample room for the racers. Participants will continue down Pine Street, cross the bridge and turn right onto Lakeshore. They will cross over to Washington Park and follow Fedder down to Marine Drive. They will turn right onto Marine Drive and then make another right onto Lakeshore Drive. They will follow the sidewalk all the way back to where they originally entered, cross over to the other side of Lakeshore and then follow the same route back. Capt. Loniewski has approved the route and him and I will be presenting the course to the BOW on Monday, April 18th.
