Preventing Injuries with Every Step 5K

A chip timed 5K (3.1 miles) open to runners and walkers of all levels. Dogs on fixed length leashes and strollers are permitted. Awards for Top 3 M/F Overall & Top 3 M/F in 5-year age groups. Course is a flat/fast out and back on the Legacy Trail with start/finish near the Coldstream Dog Park. Participants earn a commemorative race T-shirt.

A fun, untimed 1 mile walk. No awards for this event. Participants earn a commemorative race T-shirt.

A fun & FREE sprint race for kids 9 and under. Each child will earn a participation medal. No awards for this event.

For those who can't join us in person consider signing up as a virtual runner/walker and doing your own Preventing Injuries with Every Step 5K from your hometown on your schedule. For a $30 donation we'll mail you your commemorative race T-shirt. You can (optional) log your virtual result (or completion of your 5K run/walk) on the race website.

We need 6-8 enthusiastic volunteers to make our race truly great. The race day volunteer shift runs from 12:15-3:30pm and you'll earn a free race T-shirt and a good feeling for serving the community and our runners/walkers.
