Event: Kids Fun Run and Obstacle Course
FUN RUN: The Kids Fun Run (ages 3-11), Kids will race on a set course around Central Field. Each child will receive a cotton race t-shirt, a finisher's ribbon and free entry into the Obstacle Course. Adults are welcome to run the fun run with their younger children free of charge.
OBSTACLE COURSE: There will be two courses again this year, each opening immediately after the Fun Run on the lawn across from the race start. The Be Well Obstacle Course will be for children ages 5 through 11 only. Parents are asked to watch their child from the sidelines of the obstacle course as there will be plenty of volunteers to assist the children inside the course. My Gym Children's Fitness Center will run an obstacle course made for just pre-schoolers. Children ages 3 and 4 will have a blast running, leaping, crawling, and balancing through My Gym's obstacle course. 5 year olds that don't want to do the larger course will also be allowed to enjoy My Gym's course, and 2 year olds can give it a try with a grown-ups help!

Entrants registered by 4/10/20 receive a discounted rate of $36 and are guaranteed a 2020 Run4Scituate shirt. Entrants registering 4/11/20 through 5/2/20 will pay $42 and will NOT receive a shirt. On-site race day registration is $48. Extra shirts will be available for purchase at the race expo area along with other Run4Scituate swag.
A $15 student rate (up to age 18, applied at checkout) will be offered through race day morning, but students must be registered by 4/12/19 to receive a tech shirt. Students registered after 4/12/19 will not receive a tech shirt.
The 10K route starts and ends at the top of Cudworth St. It will take you down First Parish Road onto Brook Street into Scituate Harbor. It will proceed through the Harbor and then around Lighthouse Point continuing on Turner Road. It will then cut across Tilden and turn onto Beaver Dam Road passing the Scituate Common and to the finish line. It is one of the best 10K routes around! It is flat until Beaver Dam Road near the finish.
