Chili-Heart 5K Run/2 Mile Walk & Chili Cook-Off

PRICE INCREASE TO $30 AFTER JANUARY 1, 2026.

- All registers can participate as a Chili Cook-Off Attendee after the race.
- All registered runners will receive a t-shirt and participatory medal.
- On-site registration: $40.00 cash or check payable to: East China Educational Foundation (ECEF)

Selecting this option is registering to COMPETE in the Chili Cook-off.

This option ALSO allows competitors making chili to attend, taste test and vote in the chili competition.

Please bring a LARGE CROC POT (or more/small roaster) of chili for the competition as well as a serving spoon for your chili. Small taste testing cups, spoons & napkins will be provided by ECEF.

Those making chili will be contacted several days in advance for a total of participants expected for chili making amounts. Questions, contact Mike at 810-689-4447.

NOTE: Participants and consumers of chili take on all responsibilities for health risks during or after this event. The East China Educational Foundation is not responsible for any sickness due to consumed chili. By registering for this event, all contestants and attendees agree to these statements.

Selecting this option is registering to ATTEND in the Chili Cook-off.

Attendees here will be able to taste test as much chili as they would like, voting for their favorite chili. Drinks and sides (chips/crackers) will also be provided to all attendees.

We appreciate the support of our VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS & DONORS. Those registering for the virtual options will still be able to pick up a t-shirt and medal on Friday, February 6, 2026 between 3:30-5:00pm at St. Clair River Elementary School.

Please note that ALL PROCEEDS from your virtual donation will go directly into classrooms to support the teachers, staff and students within the East China School District.
