- FULL EVENT INFORMATION: The East China Educational Foundation proudly offers the 14th annual Chili-heart 5K run / 2 Mile walk on Saturday, February 8, 2025 - Registration 8:00-8:45am, race from 9:00am-10:30am. Participants can enter to join us in-person or take part virtually. Additionally, the East China Educational Foundation is proud to add a CHILI COOK-OFF from 10:00am-12:00pm, as part of the event.
- CHILI-HEART 5K Run / 2-Mile Walk: Registration ($25) is now open for this running/walking event, happening on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at St. Clair Middle School, 4335 Yankee Road, St. Clair MI 48079. Registration & Packet Pick-up is from 8:00-8:45am, race starting at 9:00am, awards at 10:30am. Virtual participation is available and encouraged! Virtual racers can pick up their T-Shirt & Medal on Friday, February 7 (3:00-5:00pm at St. Clair Middle School, 4335 Yankee Road, St. Clair MI 48079. How does a Virtual Race work? Just register and run/walk whenever you'd like. No awards are given to virtual runners/walkers, but we appreciate your commitment and registration! - CHILI-HEART CHILI COOK-OFF: Registration is now open to COMPETE IN ($25) or ATTEND ($15) the event. Competitors please just bring your chili, extension cord for power, and serving spoon. Arrive on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at St. Clair Middle School between 9:00-10:00am to set-up in the SCMS Gym for this event. A table, cups for your chili, and utensils will be provided by ECEF. ATTENDEES are encouraged to attend to taste test the chili from 10:00-12:00pm. Voting will end at 11:30am and then awards will be given out thereafter. The event officially ends at 12:00pm.

East China Educational Foundation
The East China Educational Foundation is an endowment fund set up through and managed by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County to benefit East China School District students. The endowment fund is for enrichment programs such as, after-school activities, special science and math events, fine arts programs or any project that will enhance the education of ECSD students. The East China Educational Foundation's fund is an investment in the future of our children.
