Sprint Triathlon
The Triathlon starts with a ΒΌ mile swim on the beautiful Hoot Lake 1 mile northeast of Fergus Falls. The 15.7-mile bike route follows scenic rolling country roads. You will finish the race with a 3.3-mile run on city and trail byways.
Open to ages 16+.

Sprint Team Relay
The Hoot Lake Triathlon is more fun with friends! Teams are formed of 2-3 competitors that compete as a team to finish the course. One person is on the course at a time, with all team members completing at least one section of the course.
The team captain will register and name the team. The other members must also register online, they will select the name of the team during registration.
