Recre8 5k
Join runners and walkers around the state in the first NCRecr8 5k at Frank Liske Park in Concord. This event is hosted by Cabarrus County Active Living & Parks and is coordinated by the NC Recreation & Park Association with 11 additional hosts in communities across NC. All events are taking place on the morning of April 16, 2016. Join the fun and show support for parks and recreation! This event will be timed by Agape Timing. Parking will be in the Hartsell Shelter parking lot and signs indicating parking for RECRE8 5k will be posted on the main park road leading vehicles to that site. All race participants will be able to enjoy free mini golf and paddle boats on the day of the event following the completion of the race.
