Join us for the 10th annual Run the Rail 5K. This family-friendly event begins and ends at the Betty Ross Park on Saturday, Sept 28th, with the race taking place on the historic Marcia H. Cloninger Rail-Trail (named in memory of the late Mayor Pro Tem Marcia Cloninger). Marcia was instrumental in securing funds to build the trail and was its true champion. Fittingly this year, the race takes place on Marcia’s birthday. Her children are excited to run and walk in her memory. We hope you will join us as we Run the Rail – and remember.

Event: 5k Memorial Walk (Virtual Timed)
OLD DATA: Walk is a Non timed event
The 5K route is as follows:
• Leave Betty Ross Park on Motz Avenue
• Travel 0.1 of a miles to rail trail entrance
• Continue on rail trail crossing the following streets
o Congress Street @ Government Street,
o Academy Street
o Sycamore Street
o Pine Street
o Dixon Street
• Runners will cross Dixon Street making a u turn on rail trail and returning to start/ finish line following the same route.
