NEW FOR 2020: RUN THE RAIL 5K IS GOING VIRTUAL!
Description:
Join us "IN SPIRIT" for the 11th Run the Rail "VIRTUAL 5K".
Dates:
September 19th through September 26th. Run a 5k (3.1 Miles) anytime during this week and record your time under your profile at Run the Rail Virtual 5k (choose your date to run/walk, choose your time and route!)
Grab a partner, recruit a friend, take the family out and enjoy your favorite 5k course, while keeping social distancing practices in mind.
Runners, record your time under your profile and receive a FINISHER MEDAL!
Walkers will receive a finishers certificate for their participation.
T shirt deadline date: August 26, 2020
Pick up times for shirts:
Thursday, Sept 17th, 7:30am - 10:30am
Friday, Sept 18th, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

5k Course Details
You choose your route, your finish line! However, one route you can choose is the route we ran last year:
The 5K route is as follows:
• Leave Betty Ross Park on Motz Avenue
• Travel 0.1 of a miles to rail trail entrance
• Continue on rail trail crossing the following streets
o Congress Street @ Government Street,
o Academy Street
o Sycamore Street
o Pine Street
o Dixon Street
• Runners will cross Dixon Street making a u turn on rail trail and returning to start/ finish line following the same route.
