Event: Tryon Half Marathon
COURSE DESCRIPTION
** COURSE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND WILL BE FINALIZED BY OCTOBER **
The figure eight course will begin on Harmon Field Rd. making a right onto Harmon Field Road, a right onto Highway 176 and a right onto Warrior Drive. Runners will follow Warrior Drive back to Harmon Field park where they will begin the second loop by turning left onto Harmon Field Road, left onto Highway 108 and entering Clarence Rhodes Road on the right. After making a left, runners will follow Screven Rd to River Rd, complete a short out and back then follow Highway 19 making a left onto Capps Road, a left onto Gunning Road, and then circling back to Screven and then to Clarence Rhodes Rd, Highway 108 and back to Harmon Field.
AID STATIONS
Aid stations will be at approximately miles 1.5, 4.5, 9 and 11.5 (there will two actual stops that will be used for both the out and back segments). Water and gatorade will be provided.
