Brave Women FLX Winter 100K Virtual Challenge

Challenge yourself and your fiercest female friends to crush our 2nd Annual Winter 100K together or apart! Walk, hike, run, snowshoe, snowboard, ski, skate, skip, shimmy, shuffle, stroll—or all of the above—to celebrate brave women past and present in the Finger Lakes. Why Finger Lakes? Because that’s Where Brave Women Winter, baby. See more about that below.

So, brave this 100K solo or grab your best pals. It’s a great excuse to get outside and enjoy the winter weather wherever you are. You choose your own pace and if you’d like to track your progress, you can do so right from your personal race page.

All funds raised through this event will be used to market women-owned businesses and women-focused historic sites in the Finger Lakes region.

What is Brave Women FLX?
Brave Women FLX is a campaign that kicked off in January 2020 to celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing women the right to vote. (Hence the ‘100’K. Also, 20K didn’t feel quite brave enough.) Historic trailblazers like Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and many other courageous women who changed the course of history did so from their homes in the fiercely beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate NY.
