The Pumpkin Run is a 5K (3.1 miles). Open to adults and kids ages 5 and up (kids ages 5-13 receive special pricing and must be accompanied by an adult). Finishers receive a medal and are entered in prize drawings for some great prizes! This is a no-pressure event and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace. Everyone who crosses the 5K finish line will receive a finishers medal and be included in our event-day prize drawings.

Every 5K participant that crosses the finish line will automatically be entered into our post-race prize drawing! Thanks to our generous community sponsors, participants have a chance to win valuable fitness gear, outdoor recreation equipment, local experiences, gift cards, and more.

Children must be accompanied to the event by an adult. The Munchkin Mile is open to ages 10 and under and is 1-mile roundtrip through an established walking path at the Malone Rec Park. The path is paved and runs through a largely wooded area (state st. side of park). Volunteers will be along the munchkin route however, parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany their munchkins. Parents/Guardians assume responsibility for unaccompanied runners.
After the run, munchkin participants will receive a medal and are invited to decorate a real pumpkin to take home.
