Jim Ryun Prediction Mile
Register now for the Jim Ryun Prediction Mile, a unique event for runners in Central Pennsylvania to meet Ryan, who was a three-time Olympian and won a silver medal at the 1968 Olympics. He also held several world records in the mile, 1500 meters, 800 meters and 880 yards, and he was the first high schooler to run the mile in under 4 minutes.
The Jim Ryun Prediction Mile will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, under the lights at the Elizabethtown Area High School Track.
It will be a full mile – not 1600 meters. Registration is $20 and is strictly limited to 100 runners. Runners registered by Nov. 1 are guaranteed to receive a unique, limited edition Jim Ryun Prediction Mile t-shirt in their size.
There will be no refunds. The race will be held regardless of the weather. Deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 21. Registration is limited to 100 runners.
