This year’s race is a hybrid event, both a LIVE and a VIRTUAL race. You can register for the LIVE, or the VIRTUAL, or register for each of the events (**you must register separately for each event if you wish to do both**).
Packet Pickup Times. Location White Rose parking lot, 48 N Beaver St, York PA 17401.
Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4pm through 7pm
Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm
Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 6am to 7:45 am
** Avoid long lines on race-day by using Thursday and Friday packet pick up. **
RACE SHIRTS
Great 2023 tech shirts will be available for purchase for $12.00. You can purchase, if you choose, during online registration. Male and female styles and sizing.
Water Station: The water station will be located on both sides of Hamilton Ave. Runners will pass by at 3.5 miles and 0.5 miles to go.
Post-Race Party at the venue, White Rose Bar and Grill Parking Lot.
Food and drink (a sandwich and a beer!!) will again be provided by our partner, the White Rose Restaurant Group.
Announcements and music will be provided by Chris Wagman.
AWARDS
We will have a brief presentation of the top five male and female awards, the top male and female masters, and the winners of the Stroller Division and the Team Challenge. Age group awards may be picked up at a designated table.

Stroller Division: Two prizes! First male and female in the division take home THE MUG, which has a picture of either a male or female runner pushing a stroller.
There are only two rules for the stroller division:
1. Strollers must be running specific. This is for safety.
2. Strollers must have a child. (Ha! Thought you’d push an empty stroller for the win?) And one year a runner pushed his stroller with his three children!!
Team Challenge: Compete as a team with two ways to win: 1) biggest team or 2) fastest team.
The five-person (or more) team challenge adds another level of fun and competition to the York White Rose Run. No additional fees apply. Simply register as a team online. The first person to register for the team adds a team name. Subsequent team members select the team name from a drop-down menu.
Biggest team: Will be recognized online and after the race.
Fastest team: Cross Country-style scoring will determine which team takes home the HUGE TRAVELING TROPHY. Each year, the winning team’s name is engraved on the trophy. Go down in history!
Scoring method:
1) Only complete teams are scored. Complete teams must have 5 or more finishers.
2) Runners are placed within their teams by their finish time, fastest to slowest.
3) The number of points a runner earns for their team is determined by their ranking among qualified runners. Qualified runners are the fastest 7 runners on complete teams.
4) A team’s total points is the point sum of the first 5 qualified runners on a complete team.
5) Positions 1-5 within a team are called scorers. Positions 6 and 7 within a team are called displacers.
In the event of a tie:
1) A tie is broken by the first displacer
2) If a team does not have displacers, the team with 6 finishers wins.
Prize Money: Top five male and female finishers will receive $250, $200, $150, $100, & $50, respectively.
Masters Awards: The top male and female finishers 40 and over will receive $75; the second will receive $50. If a master winner is in the top 5 overall, he/she wins both cash awards.
Age Group Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.
