Justin Pepper 5K: Walk, Run, Ruck!

The Justin Pepper 5K has three components. A walk, a run, and a ruck. If you plan to ruck, you need to sign up for the JP5K Ruck! event as you will receive a patch and have an option to choose a ruck shirt or a regular race shirt.

This is a charity run. Established in 2007, The Justin Pepper Foundation provides awards and scholarships to youth that excel in community service activities. In the past eight years, the foundation has provided $44,000 in scholarships, assisting students with educational opportunities beyond high school.

The Justin Pepper 5K has three components. A walk, a run, and a ruck. If you plan to walk or run without a ruck sack, you need to sign up for the JP5K Walk/Run event.

Ruck participants are timed separately from walk/run participants for medals and prizes and are required to weigh in their sacks before and after they complete the route.

The Justin Pepper 1 Mile Fun Run is not just for kids....it's for anyone who wants to begin their walking or running experience and doesn't feel comfortable with a 3 mile commitment. This event will not be timed. Fun Run t-shirts and participation medals will be provided to each child participant. Adults will receive a regular race shirt.
