Race Day Volunteer Check In Medium Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties include checking in volunteers,  tallying group totals for volunteer awards,  and distributing community service certificates.  You may also need to assist with the Registration Table as needed.

Parking Attendant Medium Priority

Details

Duties will include directing participants into parking areas.  

Race Day Packet Pick Up High Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties will include distributing race shirts, bibs, and swag bags to race participants.

Race Day Late Registration Medium Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties will include assisting participants register using a paper form, assigning a bib number, distributing shirts and swag bags (if available), and forwarding information to the timing company.

Timing Company Assistant Medium Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties include making sure all late registrations have been provided to the timing company and assisting with any duties they may need.

This task may also include removing the start line after the race begins.

Ruck Check In High Priority

Details

Duties will include weighing back packs for ruck participants before start of event.

Ruck Return Check In High Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties will include weighing backpacks as Ruckers return, distributing patches to participants, and directing them to donation tables.

Race Route Assistant High Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties will include directing participants on which way to go on the race route. This is an extremely important task especially this year with a new route.

Water Stop Assistance Medium Priority

September 2, 2023

Details

Set up Water Station and hand out water cups during the event.

Location

Mile 1 and Mile 2 of race route

Awards Assistant

September 2, 2023

Details

Assist with the Awards Presentation in handing out medals, prizes, and directing participants to photo ops.

After Race Clean Up

September 2, 2023

Details

Duties include sweeping parking lot for trash, Sweeping race route for trash, Picking up signs, cones, and barrels from the race route, cleaning up water stop areas, Packing up tables, chairs, etc from the registration and awards areas. Removing ALL signage at Crooked Creek Park.

Set up cones, barrels, signage for route. May also include setting up vendor area.
