Event: Earth Day 5K
Competitive and family-friendly 5K race through Mt Trashmore Park during the 50th anniversary Earth Day Celebration in the park. Finisher medals for all participants, Activities include a post race party including snacks, soda & adult beverages, an awards ceremony, and Earth Day activities commemorating this 50th year of focusing on the proper care of our home -- the planet earth. Race participants and families are encouraged to stay and enjoy the Earth Day Celebration activities and events including local entertainment, environmental educational mini-talks, local food vendors and exhibitors and other activities.
