Run Manatee Fall 2021 Training Program

Training Dates:  September 21, 2021 to November 28, 2021

Goal Races:  You decide if you wish to participate in the goal races below (optional) or just train with a certified coach and the group to get in great shape. 

November 13-14 - St. Pete Run Fest 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon 

November 28 - Space Coast Half Marathon

November 28 - X-Country 30K, Half Marathon, & 5K

 

Group training:  2-3 days per week, varies each week so definitely check the calendar. Click on the name of the workout on our Google Calendar to see address, times, and what to bring.

Tuesdays 6:00-7:15 p.m. at Riverwalk Splash Pad. Water and restrooms available at pavilion.

Thursdays 6:00-7:15 p.m. at Manatee High School track. Restrooms available but there are no water fountains so please bring plenty of your own water.

Saturdays or Sundays 7:00-9:00 a.m. at various locations including Robinson Preserve, Bennett Park, Celery Fields, and Benderson Park.

Every session is different.  Workouts will vary and include cardio, strength, agility, hills, speed, running form drills, and endurance with a focus on injury prevention.

Please bring water, mini band, and a large towel or mat for strength/core work and stretching.

Program pricing and details:
 
Prices vary by each different training plan (5K, 10K, and Half Marathon) and all plans include all of the group training sessions over 3 months plus a training schedule to follow and a mini resistance band.

 

COVID-19 Protocols:  Please bring a mask to wear if you plan to be closer than 6 feet to another participant.  Otherwise, we will spread out and keep our distance throughout the workout.  Thank you.

 

We offer something for everyone - running, walking, strength training, improved flexibility, hill training, balance work, speed and agility, and interval training.

Workouts vary each day to help you achieve your goals. Take your fitness and your running to the next level. Group training for all ages and abilities. All workouts are based on your current fitness level and work well for runners and walkers.
