Entry Fees 

• Registration for in-person 10K/5K - $45.00  Now through Dec. 6
• Registration for in-person 10K/5K - $55.00  Dec. 7
• Registration for virtual for 10K/5K - $55.00. T-shirts and finisher medals will be mailed to the address provided by the participant
• Special Promotional rate for ages 16 and under of $35.00 for 10K/5K until December 6
• Registration for Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under - Fun Run is free, however all participants must register

Teams

This year for the 5K and 10K in-person races we have added team competition awards.

• Persons must sign up  to be on a team during the entry process
• Team signup ends Saturday December 6th at 6 pm. After that time there is no further team signup or additions
• We suggest that team captains have at least 6 team members on their roster although just 5 team members will be scored
• If you have already signed up and now wish to be on or create a team then contact our timer and registrar - Mark at Lin-Mark Sports - include your name and the team that you now want to join or create. Mark's contact information is: linmarksports@linmarksports.com

Our timer – Lin-Mark Sports – will score the teams as follows:

• Top 5 finishers per team will be scored based on their chip time
• A team can unlimited members but only the first five finishers are scored
• Their top 5 finishing chip times will then be added together to produce a total team time
• The team with the fastest total chip time will be declared the winner
• Should the total time end up as tie between two or more teams then the best 6th place team finisher will determine the winner
• There will be one team award per race
• Persons who placed in the team scoring are also eligible to win and overall and an age group award

Start Times:   

• Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration for 10K/5K will be from 6:00-6:45 a.m. 
• 10K and 5K - 7:00 a.m. (chip timed)
• Kids Fun Run - approximately 9:00am
• 5K Awards - approximately 9:00 am  
• 10K Awards - approximately 9:30 a.m.

Parking:

There is a toll of $6.00 to cross the bridge to Sanibel. The bridge is under construction which may cause delays.  Parking for the race is available at the following locations on Sanibel:

• Big Arts Strauss Theater, enter off of Periwinkle directly across from the Sanibel Community House
• Sanibel Public Library, 770 Dunlop Road
• Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle
• Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, 2050 Periwinkle
• Saint Michael's, 2304 Periwinkle

Timing: The 10K/5K will be timed by our Cape Coral neighbors - Lin-Mark Sports - using the Chronotrack Timing System.  Entrants will be able to sign up for results by text during the entry process and Lin-Mark will be posting Live Results all race morning.

• Awards for 10K/5K run:
  • Awards will be given to in-person runners only! FISH cannot mail awards to participants
  • No Duplicate Awards
  • Finishers Medallion and T-shirt (All entrants pre-registered by November 1st are guaranteed your sized T-shirt.) 
• Overall Awards:
  • Awards will be given to in-person runners only! FISH cannot mail awards to participants.
  • Top Female/Male Overall (based on gun time)
  • Awards based on chip time:  
    • 1st Place M/F:  Masters (40-49), Grandmasters (50-59), & Senior Grandmasters (60+).  
  • Age Groups: three deep (Male & Female- based on chip time) in the following age categories:
    • 9 & under            16-19     30-34     45-49     60-64     75-79
    • 10-12                   20-24     35-39     50-54     65-69     80 & over
    • 13-15                   25-29     40-44     55-59     70-74

Shirts: Performance shirt for all participants (male & female cuts). Participants are guaranteed their race shirt size if registration is before or on November 1, 2024
