TURKEY TRAIL TROT

"Over the river and through the woods".....well maybe no river but definitely through the woods.                                                                                               

Join us for a trotting good time!  A beautiful 5K single-loop course on 140 acres of lush open space, woods and oak hammocks at Mary Help of Christians Center in east Tampa.  Freshly mown and groomed cross-country trails with the start, finish, and post-race along the lake.

And by popular demand, a 1 mile Mini-Trot starting and finishing by the lake, out and back, simply for fun.  Running time clock and a special 1-miler finisher medal.  (Shirt not included for the 1 mile Mini-Trot but can be added during registration for an additional fee.)

Start Times: 

• Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration for BOTH 5K and 1 Mile - 7:30 a.m.  until 8:50 a.m.       
• 5K - 9:00 a.m.  (chip timed)
• 1 Mile Mini Trot - 9:45 a.m. (running time clock)
• Awards (5K only) - approximately 10:00 am

Awesome Custom Finisher Medal for all 5K participants and a special medal for the 1 Mile Mini-Trotters.

Race Shirts: Included with your 5K registration, custom tech shirt in gender-specific and youth sizes, register early to be sure to get your size!  The 1 Mile Mini Trot does not automatically include a shirt but add one on during registration for an additional fee and we'll pack one up for you.

Awards for the 5K:

• Custom "Running Turkey" plaques for 5K winners: Overall, Youth Overall (14 & under), Masters, Grandmasters, Sr. Grandmasters (60 & over) and Veteran Grandmasters (70 & over)  plus 1st through 3rd place in standard 5 year age groups
• Overall Female & Male 5K winners win pair of On Running Shoes

                            Packets can also be picked up at the race site on the morning of the run, Saturday, Nov 27, starting at 7:30 a.m.                                           

Registration will be available race morning starting at 7:30 a.m. too.

AND Breaking News-Tampa Bay Lightning's ThunderBug and Rolling Thunder will be on-site!  One lucky 5K participant will win a pair of Club Level Tickets and Parking to an upcoming Lightning game!
