An out-and-back Thanksgiving morning race tradition for the whole family! Held on Thursday, November 26th. We start and end at Benchmark International Arena  located at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. Your choice of 1 mile fun run which starts at 8:15am,5K run/ walk which starts at 7am, or a virtual 5k from anywhere! Limited dogs welcome, all pups must be registered.  Strollers welcomed- please plan to line up in the back.  Children in strollers do not need to be registered for the race, but they must stay in the stroller while on the course and they will not receive a race shirt or swag. If requesting a ladies size t-shirt, please keep in mind they run really small and order one or TWO sizes up.

The Y is proud to say that  the Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble covers 100% of the cost of our youth cancer survivor program: Kids Thrivers Club. The free 12-week programs offers children affected by cancer a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person.  While participating in the program, participants and their household family members receive a membership to the Tampa YMCA, helping the whole family regain their health.  Additionally, it covers 100% of the cost of our Pedaling for Parkinson's program, helping those affected by Parkinson's and their caregivers to have a community of support while participants see a reduction in symptoms. With your participation, the Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble also supports several other programs to improve the health of our community, including: the Diabetes Prevention Program, Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, Healthy Steps for Older Adults, Enhance Fitness and so much more!
