REGISTRATION FAQs:
- WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER? You have until Friday, November 13th at 11:59PM to register for the event.
- WHAT IS THE COST TO REGISTER? Registration and entry fee per participant is $30. This does not include tax or fees which will be calculated at checkout.
- CAN I GET A REFUND OR TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION? Registrations are not refundable or transferrable. The net proceeds will directly benefit and support Pepin Academies' COVID-19 enhancements and protocols that we have implemented for the safety and well-being of our students and staff for the 2020-2021 school year.
- I HAVE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO LIVE OUT OF TOWN, CAN THEY PARTICIPATE IN THE FALCON 5K CHALLENGE? Yes! We would love to have them register as they can participate wherever they live. The event is only open to registrants with a valid U.S. address. We cannot ship outside the U.S.
SHIRT FAQs:
- CAN I UPDATE MY SHIRT SIZE IF I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT YET? If your registration packet has NOT been mailed out or picked up yet, we are happy to assist you with updating your shirt selection. Just shoot us an email and we can make that change for you based on our available inventory.
- CAN I UPDATE MY SHIRT SIZE AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED IT? Once you have received your registration packet in the mail, we aren't able to accommodate shirt exchanges. Sorry!
- DO YOU HAVE A SIZING CHART AVAILABLE? Yes, you can view the shirt sizing guide HERE.
5K CHALLENGE FAQs:
- WHAT IS A VIRTUAL CHALLENGE? A Virtual Challenge is an event you can complete Anytime/Anywhere! There isn't a set time or place since virtual challenges are meant for you to complete at your convenience and at your own pace. To complete the 5K, we are encouraging participants to be active and engaged by doing some of your favorite fitness activities! Please refer to a list of activities and the Activity to Steps Conversion Chart HERE. After your have completed the challenge, wear your finisher medal with #PepinPride!
- HOW DO I SETUP AN INDVIDUAL FUNDRAISING PAGE? You can help increase awareness and raise funds by setting up and managing your own fundraising page! There is no minimum donation requirement needed for you to fundraise on your own - simply share and promote the cause with your network! Easily start your own fundraising page HERE and post it to social media to encourage donations where pledged funds you receive will help motivate you to hit your goals and support students with learning disabilities! If you are on a team, the funds your raise will contribute to your team's overall fundraising goal! Find instructions on how to set up a fundraising page HERE.
- HOW DO I SUBMIT MY TIME/DISTANCE? The completion of the 5K is on the honor system, so there is no requirement for you to submit your time. It is optional for running participants to submit their time if they would like to receive the 'Best Completed Time' award. Those who go beyond 3.1 miles may also choose to submit their distance for the 'Most Mileage/Steps' award. You can enter your time and/or distance on our RunSignup.com race website HERE.
- CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL RUN BEFORE I HAVE RECEIVED MY GEAR? You don't have to wait to receive your registration packet with your race gear. You can complete your run at any time. However, if you do wait to receive your registration packet, you will be able to wear you Falcon gear once you've completed the challenge!
SHIPPING FAQs:
- CAN I UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS? If your registration packet has NOT been mailed out yet, we are happy to assist you with updating your shipping address. Just shoot us an email and we can make that change for you.
- HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY GEAR HAS SHIPPED? Registration packets will be shipped around Nov. 9th and will include your race shirt, finisher medal and race bib. If you registered before November 6th, you should receive your packet in time for the event the week of 11/16 - 11/20. Shipping usually takes 7-9 business days to arrive within the United States. - DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY? At this time, shipping is only available to U.S. registrants.
