Activity Logging FAQS

You've been moving and grooving and now you're ready to share your progress!

Below are some FAQ's we've been receiving regarding the step submission process. If you are not able to find a solution here, reach out to Betsy.Amstutz@HealthCorps.org

Q: How do I submit my activities?

A:

To submit your activities, in the form of steps, you will:
- Go to the Results tab on the main page of this website.
- Search and select your name
- Once you are on your page, there will be green button in the top right and corner that says, "Log Activities", click on that.
- That will bring you to a page that says, "New Activity". That is where you will enter the date and how many steps, or step equivalents, you got that day. Fill that in and click "Submit Activity". Submit an activity with a sum of steps or step equivalents each day from Oct 10th-30th!

Q: It's not letting me submit my activities and I'm getting a notification to add a number. I did! What do I do?

A: If you added a comma (e.g. 10,789), remove the comma and try again. Unfortunately, the system doesn't recognize this format (it tricked us, too!). If that is not working, email Betsy.Amstutz@HealthCorps.org with the step counts you need help logging.

Q: Will people need to verify their step submissions?

A: Though not every step count will need to be verified, we will reach out to participants to verify step submissions that we flag as possible entry errors (perhaps some extra zeros were added? Or the entry got submitted twice?).

A reminder that steps should be submitted accurately and honestly for this friendly competition!

Q: I don't have a step tracking device, can I still participate? ; The physical activities I participate in are difficult to track through steps, can I still participate?

A: Absolutely. All activities fit into this challenge. You can track minutes engaging in various activities and convert them into steps using the chart below. Doing other activities not on this list? Reach out and we'll help you calculate your step equivalents.
