Race Day
A Message from Our Race Director & Medical Director:
We want everyone to have a successful, safe run. Here are a few suggestions and additional health-related information from our Race Director and Medical Director.
- Air Quality: It looks like this will be a non-issue this weekend as the AQI is forecasted to be in the healthy range. However, we will cancel the race if the AQI is above 150.
- Bee Stings: If you are allergic to bee stings and carry an EpiPen with you, please bring it and carry it with you during the race. A fanny pack or arm strap works great.
- Additional Allergies: If you have any other life-threatening allergies that would be relevant for our medical team to know about, please write them on the back of your hand.
- Medical Tent and Medical Team: A medical tent will be located near the start/finish line before and after the race. We will have a medical team on the course if assistance is needed. Both team members will be carrying AEDs in case of an emergency. If you need assistance, please reach out to any volunteer, and they will locate a med staff member to assist. Volunteers wear light blue race t-shirts with “Volunteer” on the back.
- Hydration: Please come to the race hydrated. We have four water aid stations throughout the course. Take a drink if you feel thirsty!
- Strollers are welcome, but pets are not: Please leave your furry friends at home, as they are not permitted on the course or at the after-party.
- T-shirts: Sizes cannot be guaranteed for sign-ups after August 24.
Check-In Early for a Swag Bag!
Thanks to our generous community partner, Kochava, we are giving out swag bags to our runners! These swag bags also include coupons for downtown businesses in Sandpoint.
Check-in will be on the south lawn of Trinity at City Beach on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 - 9:45 AM.
