Find Your Strength 5K & 1K

Our superhero-themed 5k and 1k will start and finish at Sandpoint City Beach and run down the beautiful Sand Creek trail. The run concludes with a family-friendly after-party on the lawn of Trinity at City Beach. Please mark your calendars to join us on September 14! The 5k race will start at 10 a.m., and the 1k will begin at 11 a.m., with an after-party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The funds raised during our community run will go towards our Hometown Health Grants initiative. This program identifies needs within our hospital as introduced by department managers. 

Registration: 

Choose between the 5K and 1K, or run both! The 5K will be chip-timed. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group for the 5K race and the top three finishers of the 1 K.

5K: Start & finish line at Sandpoint City Beach, turn north on Sand Creek trail, turn around after benches as the trail starts to incline, and return to City Beach via the same route. 

1K: Start & finish line at Sandpoint City Beach, turn north on Sand Creek trail, turn around near Cedar Street Bridge, and return to City Beach via the same route.  We encourage our 1K runners to "find their strength" by dressing up as their favorite superheroes!

Fees (for either or both races): 

• $45 for adults (includes t-shirt* & drink ticket)
• $25 for 17 and under (includes t-shirt* & drink ticket)
• Free kids eight and under (t-shirt can be added for $15)

*shirt sizes are guaranteed only through August 16, 2024. 

Same-day registration is allowed. Adult registration fees will increase to $50. Shirts are based on availability.

Group Discounts: 

Are you a corporation, family, or group paying for several runners?  We offer the following group discount rates. Register your entire corporate team with an entry code, and we will invoice you after the race. Email Amelia for more info: aboydinny@yahoo.com

• 15% off for 10-15 participants
• 25% off for 16+ participants
