Food Drive
The Michigan Army National Guard Officer Candidate School and 177th Regional Training Institute are proud to announce a partnership with the South Michigan Food Bank. Traditionally, units who host a Norwegian Foot March conduct it in unison with a food drive and the Fort Custer Norwegian Foot March is going to keep that tradition alive. We can't tell you to donate anything, but an Army without a community is nothing and our community can use some help. All we ask is one bag from each participant. Some folks even utilize the donated goods as weight for their ruck. You can too or just donate.
Top requests are: Cereal, Peanut butter, grains – pasta, rice, ramen, canned meats, canned veggies & fruits, mac & cheese. Essentially non-perishable items are preferred.
Again, join us for an awesome endurance event, but also as a way to give back to the community. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
