Mind Over Muscle Partnership
Starting with the 5th anniversary of Franklin All Nighter, we are pleased to announce a partnership with The Mind Over Muscle Foundation, founded by former Division 1 athlete and UNC running back Elijah Green.
Inspired by his own mental health journey, Elijah founded The Mind Over Muscle Foundation with a commitment to empowering athletes by changing the stigma around mental health—from something seen as a weakness to a competitive advantage for athletic success.
Smashing the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering others to educate themselves, prioritize their mental well-being, and seek mental health care are also founding principles of Franklin All Nighter. That is why we are excited to enter into a partnership with The Mind Over Muscle Foundation.
At The Mind Over Muscle Foundation, the belief is simple: “Strong minds don’t just prevent breakdowns; they unlock breakthroughs.”
Their mission is:
“To empower athletes through proactive mental performance training and education to enhance physical performance, build resilience, and address challenges before and when they occur. We emphasize the vital link between emotional well-being and athletic performance, working to shift the stigma of mental health from a sign of weakness into a tool for success and competitive excellence.”
The Mind Over Muscle Foundation envisions a world where mental skills training is part of every athlete’s daily training regimen. In the same way athletes take care of their physical health by lifting, conditioning, and practicing, they will take care of their mental health with the same intentionality.
Franklin All Nighter is proud to partner with an organization working to make that vision a reality—and to continue creating a community where talking about mental health is encouraged, education is accessible, and taking care of your mind is recognized as a strength.
