What you need to know

The Run Walk Roll is an event hosted by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center.

  • When: April 1 – 30, 2023.
  • Where: Everyone across the nation, plus international registrations are welcome!
  • Who: Participate as an individuals or as a team (schools, families, youth, businesses, etc.)
  • How: Set a goal of miles to move by running, walking, rolling, strolling, swimming, biking, or hiking.
  • What: Circling the world (24,901 miles) to symbolically show that moving toward a world without bullying.
  • Registration: Free to everyone!

Recording Miles

Participants, individuals or teams, can set their own mileage goals to complete throughout April. Every mile recorded by individuals and teams will go toward the cumulative goal of 24,901 miles to help create a world without bullying. 

  • How often should I record my miles? That's up to you! Record daily, weekly, or at end of month.
    • Download or print the mileage calendar as a low tech way to track miles—be sure to submit online at some point!
    • Be sure to enter all miles by May 3rd as form closes end of day
  • How do I submit my miles? Go to the "Submit Mileage" hub and follow the prompts.
  • How do I submit team miles? If your team members are registered, they too enter on the "Submit Mileage" hub
    • If not registered, you can enter miles on their behalf, or share your access information.
Donations

While registration for the event is FREE to allow everyone to participate, donations are encouraged and appreciated!

  • Donate online during registration or anytime during the event!
  • Participants donating $50 or more will receive an orange Unity Day t-shirt.
    • Please note: T-shirt quantity and sizes are limited.
    • Once donation is received, a team member will reach out for sizing and delivery information.
    • T-shirts sent to U.S. addresses only.
