What is the Superhero 3K Fun Run?
Superhero Fun Run is an untimed 3K run/walk open to all abilities and experience, from the avid runner to families. Participants can run or walk the route and are encouraged to represent their favorite superhero. The race starts at 8:30A at the Sensory Garden Playground (2751 Navistar Dr, Lisle, IL 60532). 

PARKING 
- Participant parking will be in the Science of Spirituality Parking Lot (4105 Naperville Rd, Lisle IL 60532). From Naperville Rd, turn east onto Navistar Dr. Then turn right into the designated area. 

Who does this race benefit?
The Rotary Club of Wheaton AM, in conjunction with the Wheaton Park District, is hosting the Superhero Fun Run 2024 to benefit local Rotary-supported charities and the Play for All Playground & Garden Foundation. A portion of the event proceeds will go toward creating Play for All at the Sensory Garden Playground in Lisle, IL.

Are there any Race Bundles?
Yes, the Race Wheaton race bundle is available through June 1. Challenge yourself to run throughout 2024! Start off with the Superhero Fun Run in April, tackle the Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals in June, and finish strong with the festive Reindeer Run in December.  

Get a FANTASTIC FOUR Discount!  
Teams of 4 or more will receive a $4.00 off discount per registrant.  In order to receive the discount, a team must be created and entered when registering.  Team members do not have to register at the same time.  After the 4th person registers, the other 3 team members will receive a $4.00 refund.  

What should I wear?
Anything to represent your favorite superhero!  Whether it is a Spiderman suit, a DC or Marvel t-shirt, a Wonder Woman tiara, or Captain America's shield, we welcome participation at any level.  

Where is the Superhero Fun Run? 
The new 3K race route will take place at the Sensory Garden Playground (2751 Navistar Dr, Lisle, IL 60532).  Participants will park in the Science of Spirituality parking lot (4105 Naperville Rd, Lisle, IL 60532) and line up at the race start.  The race will run through Danada Forest Preserve and the finish line will be at the Sensory Garden Playground.  Please note: Part of the course will be on paved streets and part of the course will be on crushed limestone/unpaved trails throughout Danada Forest Preserve. When is Packet Pickup?
Packet pickup will be held at the Community Center (1777 S Blanchard St., Wheaton) from 10A - 7P on Thursday, April 4.  Packets can also be picked-up on race morning at the Sensory Garden Playground (2751 Navistar Dr, Lisle, IL 60532) from 7:30-8:15A. 

Are strollers/wheelchairs allowed?
Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed but will be asked to line up in the last wave of the race start. Participant safety is of the utmost importance, therefore, bicycles, in-line skates, and other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) are not allowed.  Any person riding in a stroller must remain in the stroller for the duration of the race.  Please note: part of the course will be on paved streets and part of the course will be on crushed limestone/unpaved trails throughout Danada Forest Preserve.

Can my pet participate?
Pets are NOT permitted in this race. This is for the safety of your pet. Service animals must be approved by the race director ONE WEEK prior to race day.
