Race Day Registration/Check-In High Priority

Details

Assist with race day check-in (bib assignment/giveaway distribution), registration, and providing general information to runners as they arrive.

Please note: Check-in volunteers must be comfortable using simple online registration software (training will be provided).

Check-in for Race Day Registration/Check-in volunteers will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 9:30A.

Location

Check-In at the Start Line, near the parking lot of the Science of Spirituality parking lot (4105 Naperville Rd, Lisle, IL 60532)

Course Marshal High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 29 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course marshals will cheer, direct racers to appropriate route and watch for cars to maintain a safe environment. Volunteers under age 16 will be paired with a partner.

Volunteer check-in for Course Marshals will be at 7:30A, followed by a short orientation. Course Marshals must be at their station along the course by 8A. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

Water Station/Post-Race Refreshments High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers will help distribute post-race refreshments including water and snacks to runners after the race.

Volunteer check-in for Water Station/Post-Race Refreshments volunteers will be at 7:30A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up approximately 10A.

Start Line/Finish Line

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist with organizing runners at the start line and will assist with keeping runners safe at the finish line. Volunteers will also help hand out keychain prizes to runners at the finish line.

Volunteer check-in for Start Line/Finish/Line volunteers will be at 7:30A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up approximately 10A.

Gear Check High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers will collect runner's gear for storage during the race and return after race is complete.

Volunteer check-in for Gear Check will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

Volunteer Check-In High Priority

Details

Assist with checking in other volunteers and distributing important race information to volunteer groups.

Check-in for Volunteer Check-In role will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 9:30A.
