Alright, y’all, it’s that time again! Get ready to run, laugh, and maybe sweat a little (or a lot) at Bree’s Miles of Memories – the race that honors the incredible Breanna Leigh Chadwick and keeps her legacy alive. We miss her every day, but we’re making sure her kindness, love, and legendary energy live on. 💫
📢 Dr. Seuss Fans, Assemble! 🧢🐱
Seussville is coming in hot, and it’s bringing ALL the characters. Expect to see the Cat in the Hat and crew roaming around, posing for photos, and making mischief. 📸 Oh, and don’t worry about trying to get that perfect shot—we got FREE photography services to capture all the fun (and the sweat… lots of sweat).
💜 A Moment for Bree
We’ll take time for a special Memorial Presentation to reflect on Breanna’s beautiful impact on so many lives. It’s a moment to honor her kindness, her heart, and the way she made the world a better place.
🏆 Get Ready to Battle for the $250 Prize! 💰
Two groups will take home $250—one student organization and one business/community group with the most participants. But let’s be real, we know some of y’all are in it for the flex. (FYI: You can only win in one category, so choose wisely.) (Check the website for group qualifications)
👗 Dress to Impress – Seuss Style! 🎩🦸♂️
Think you can rock a Grinch suit or pull off a full-on Lorax look? We want to see it! Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character for a chance to snag a special prize.
🎽 Perks on Perks!
All racers get a commemorative race shirt because (racers signed up prior to 02/16/2026 are guaranteed a shirt), let’s be honest, we all love a good free tee. And kids 10 & under? They’ll be walking away with a Dr. Seuss book to keep the whimsy going.

Every step you take, every mile you crush, helps support love, charity, kindness, and community—the values Breanna held dearest. And guess what? This race is also a Peachtree Qualifier (so, yeah, we’re legit).

Bree's Legacy is a cooperative and collaborative foundation dedicated to educating, serving, and providing aid to the community. We strive to embody Breanna’s virtue, passion, and servant’s heart in everything we do. Our mission includes raising awareness about the importance of organ donation and we ensure that many children receive the support and resources they need to thrive. Your generosity is making a difference, and we couldn’t do it without you!

All registered participants age 10 and under will receive a free Dr. Seuss book.
Participants registered by 02/16/2026 are guaranteed a T-Shirt in their size. Afterward, they'll be while supplies last.

Virtual Run Instructions
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? Or, maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!" Then, the virtual race is for you. Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day. We'll ship out virtual packages the week after event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.
New to Virtual Running? Here's how it works:
- Step 1 - Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up, and register for the Bree's Miles of Memories 5K Virtual!
- Step 2 - Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not), and get ready to get moving!
- Step 3 - Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.
- Step 4 - HAVE FUN!
- Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route, and use the hashtag #BreesMilesofMemories5K #breeslegacy
- Step 5 - Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com
- You can submit your race time on the Virtual Results page anytime until 03/07/2026 11:59 PM.
- Step 6 -View your Virtual Results Monday after the Event Date.

- February 16 - Last day to register for a guaranteed race shirt in your size
- March 7 - Race Day
- 8:00 AM - Race day check-in starts
8:15 AM - Memorial Presentation
9:00 AM - Fun Run Starts
9:15 AM - 5K Starts
- 8:00 AM - Race day check-in starts
Refund Policy
- All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
- Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
- Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
