Description
Event: Lace up your sneakers and join us for the 2nd Annual Stride for CTI Virtual 5K, supporting Wayne County’s Career & Technical Instruction (CTI) program! This special event supports students in grades 9–12 who are enrolled in Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses and provides opportunities to gain leadership skills, improve confidence, learn about post-secondary education and employment, and strive for career readiness through real-world experiences.
By participating in this 5K—whether you run, walk, or roll—you’ll be helping fund activities that reward students’ growth in CTAE and employability skills. Your support makes it possible for hands-on learning, cultural enrichment, personal development, and recognition for students who are working hard to achieve their goals.
You can complete your 5K anywhere—your neighborhood, a local park, or even on a treadmill. Every step you take brings a CTI student one step closer to success. This race will be included in the Clover Glove Race Series and Black Bag Race Series. You may run this race anywhere/anytime from October 28 – November 11, 2026. Submit finish times by November 11 to: https://runsignup.com/strideforctivirtual5k/results
