We are excited to have you join us this Saturday, March 14th, for the Run for the Nurses 5K! 🏃♀️🏃♂️This event supports the Lisa Purvis Allison Spirit of Nursing Scholarship, which is awarded twice each year to nursing students at the Tifton and Bainbridge campuses. Your participation helps provide financial support and encouragement to future nurses as they pursue their education and serve their communities. Timing will be provided by Hardy Race Timing Services, LLC. Thank you for registering and supporting this meaningful cause. Please plan to arrive early, allow time for parking and check-in, and get ready for a great morning. We look forward to seeing you at the starting line! Have fun and enjoy the race! 👟
Directions: If you are coming via I-75, use exit 64 and follow the signs to ABAC. Please Park in the North Parking Lot, which is accessible from Moore Hwy, north of the Front Campus entrances. There will be posted signs to guide you to this lot.
Packet Pick-up: Packet pick-up will begin at 6:30 AM on race morning in the lobby of the Agricultural Science Building (Building #31 on the campus map), signs will be posted. Please plan to arrive early to allow enough time to pick up your race materials before the event begins. Restrooms are also available in this building.
Race Start Time: 8:15 am

Start and Finish Line: Perimeter Road, in front of Agricultural Science.
5K Course Directions (Step-by-Step)
- Start on Perimeter Road.
- Run to Davis Road and turn left on Davis Road.
- Turn left onto Stallions Drive.
- Continue on Stallions Drive until it reconnects with Perimeter Road.
- Turn left onto Perimeter Road.
- Turn left onto Davis Road again.
- Continue past Stallions Drive and run to Moore Highway.
- Turn left onto Moore Highway and run in front of the campus toward the Agricultural Technology Building turnaround cone.
- At the turnaround cone, turn around and turn right onto Perimeter Road.
- Continue straight on Perimeter Road to the finish line.
💧 Water Station: Located near Stallions Drive and at the beef unit turnaround.
👟 Volunteers: Course volunteers will be stationed along the route to help direct runners.

Half Marathon Course Directions (Step-by-Step)
The half-marathon starts with the same route as the 5K.
- Start on Perimeter Road.
- Run to Davis Road and turn left on Davis Road.
- Turn left onto Stallions Drive.
- Continue on Stallions Drive until it reconnects with Perimeter Road.
- Turn left onto Perimeter Road.
- Turn left onto Davis Road again.
- Continue past Stallions Drive and run to Moore Highway.
- Turn right onto Moore Highway towards Rainwater Road. (Turn right, 5k turns left.)
- Turn Right on Rainwater Road.
- Turn Right on Carpenter Road.
- Turnaround on Carpenter Road.
- Turn Left on Zion Hope Road.
- Turn Right on Moore Highway.
- Turn Right on Perimeter Road to the finish line.
