A Memorial Day Weekend Tradition!
The community of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral will host its forty-ninth annual Greek Festival May 24, 25, and 26. This Memorial Day weekend tradition is an opportunity for you to experience Greece along the banks of Bayou St. John. As always, parishioners will offer their guests an array of homemade traditional Greek culinary favorites including food, pastries, and grocery items, all amidst displays of Greek culture, highlighted by live, traditional dances. Come be transported to the islands through the sounds of our live band as you sip on select Greek wines and Mythos beer. And don’t forget to bring your family and friends for a memorable experience of Greece on the Bayou. OPA!
Runners’ Party!
The racer’s bib offers each runner two (2) Greek Festival entrance tickets, allowing the runner and a guest into the Greek Festival grounds an hour before the gates open on Saturday, May 25. ** During this hour specifically reserved for the run participants, a special beer station will provide free beer while supplies last. Additional beer, food, and gift items may be purchased from several outside booths. Also, guests can watch the awards ceremony presented live from the stage before the festival gates officially open to the general public at 11:00 am!
**Only outside food and beverage booths will be available for the 5K Pre-fest party. The Pre-fest early entrance and activities valid from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, only. No exceptions. Bib ticket is non-transferable and may only be used by the New Orleans Greek Festival race participant. One (1) entrant per bib ticket.
