It’s time to register for the Holoholo Challenge — and set your goals.
The Hawaiian Airlines Holoholo Challenge launched in 2020 as an opportunity for friends to holoholo (go out) and stay connected. Inspired by the Hawaiian Islands, the virtual fitness challenge features courses that span the distance between some of our most treasured places. Now in its third year, the Holoholo Challenge celebrates the awe-inspiring landscapes of Hawaii for 2022.
All participants receive a special race package that will be mailed by the end of the year. It includes a Hawaii Island Holoholo Challenge apparel item of your choice (a t-shirt, tank or long-sleeve hoodie), 2022 commemorative medal and a limited-edition postcard by POW! WOW! artist Aaron Kai.
You have the entire month of October to walk, run or relay the distance of your virtual course, inspired by special locations on Hawaii Island. Track your mileage through this website as you go and consider the final step of your distance to be the finish line. (Keep in mind that these virtual courses aren't actual routes to take in person.)
This year, we’re inviting international guests to join the Holoholo Challenge once again; however, this RunSignup website is only available in English.
When you register for Holoholo Challenge 2022, you can also donate to Friends of Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge, a nonprofit dedicated to conserving the native forests, critically endangered birds and plants of Hawaii Island.
