Join us on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 for the 49th Annual Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run: Na Heihei a Ola. We have 3 distances to choose from and we can't wait to see you all there!
*PLEASE READ: For all visitors- This event is in WAIMEA on the island of KAUA'I. Please confirm you are visiting the correct island if you are interested in participating in this event. Mahalo! (airport= LIH -lihue)
As an organization focused on wellness and sustainability, we are always taking steps to reduce our waste and environmental footprint. With that in mind, we will no longer have free t-shirt giveaways with registration. Mahalo for supporting our fundraising goals so we can continue to provide youth sports and health programs throughout the year!
Packet Pickup: Friday, February 20th from 4-9pm at the WTC Hoʻolauleʻa
Registration closes: Friday, February 20th *no race-day registration
Race day: Saturday, February 21st, check in begins at 5:30am and closes at 6:30am with last bus, race start at 7am (all distances)
Route Info - all distances begin at Pa'ula'ula State Historic Site. Check in will be at the Waimea Plantation Cottages, with parking available across the Cottages entrance at the ball park, as well as on the highway by the Cottages. No parking allowed at Pa'ula'ula. We will bus runners to the starting line during check-in. Last bus will leave at 6:30am. All distances end back at the Plantation Cottages. Please plan to stay for our award ceremony and pa'ina after.

2026 - In Memory of Aunty Aletha
This year we’d like to honor Aletha Kawelukawahinehololioolimaloa Goodwin Kaohi, known to most as “Puna”. Her 93 years of life were dedicated to the Waimea community, her culture, and her ʻohana. We celebrate her lasting legacy and are honored to share her story as told by her ‘ohana. Read her story on iwikua's blog. Mahalo.
