Q: Will there be security?

  • Yes,  security is always planned for our Walks and with special care and planning at this heightened time. Please know we are not aware of any specific or credible threats and will cancel if any such risks should surface.

Q: Do I have to be a Hadassah Member to walk?

  • A: No

Q: Will the donations I make and collect from friends and family go back to my Hadassah Chapter/Region?

  • A: Yes

Q: May I sign-up or make a donation on the day of the walk?

  • A:  Yes, all donations are greatly appreciated.

Do you have to join a Team to walk?

  • A: You are welcome to sign up as an individual.  A Team; a team is simply a social network, a group of people or a gathering of friends or members from a Chapter that want to meet up or raise money together. 

Q: Will there be bathrooms on site at the locations:

  • A: Yes

Q: Will there be food or beverages available at the locations?

  • A: Through generous in-kind donations, Hadassah will provide an apple, a water bottle and a snack bar to the registered walkers.

Q: What is the mileage/distance?

  • A: The track is 200 meters or exactly half the size of a standard outdoor track, 8 loops will be a mile. You may make as many or as few loops as you wish

Q: Do walkers need to stay for the whole event? (2:00PM - 5:00PM)

  • A: No, everyone walks at their own pace.  Walkers can leave at any time after they have walked what ever distance they are comfortable within the hours we have the indoor track between 2pm and 5pm.
