Walk
Description
The Hadassah Northeast Walk for Israel and Women's Health is back on for Sunday, November 5th at Brandeis University’s Gosman Athletic Center!
We are thrilled to announce the Hadassah Northeast Walk for Israel and Women's Health has been successfully rescheduled for Sunday, November 5th from 2pm- 5pm at Brandeis University’s Gosman Athletic Center indoor Track.
Proceeds from the walk, which is open to all, will go directly to Hadassah’s Heal Israel Now campaign and for programs to promote women’s health in Israel and around the world. Hadassah supports two hospitals in Jerusalem. Hadassah Hospitals are treating some of the most seriously wounded patients. Both Ein Kerem and Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus are located close to Gaza and are equipped with a helipad for emergency transports. Emergency psychiatric services are being extended to adults and children traumatized by the current war. Additionally, Hadassah’s two Youth Aliyah villages are mobilizing to accept families being evacuated from southern areas of the country. Counselling services are also being made available to the youth in the villages.
Registration will remain open through Sunday, onsite registration will be available, and donations will still be accepted at the event and from fundraising efforts through the end of December. The event will have security and is open to EVERYONE. You do not need to be a member of Hadassah to register for this walk. The money we have raised and what we have been able to accomplish together with Hadassah is inspiring, now we look forward being together in solidarity.
