Race Day Information
Welcome to 28th Annual Hatfield McCoy Marathon!
The course record for the marathon was broken at 2:33 by Hector Falcon on June 8, 2024!
We want everyone to experience everything Hatfield McCoy during race weekend on June 11-12, 2027. All races on Saturday, June 12, 2027.
Choose between the Marathon, Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon, River Road Half Marathon, Jeannie Rivard 5k, and Kid's Run.
Below,we have more information for race weekend.
Packet Pickup/Registration/Expo - Friday, June 11, 2027
Opens at 2PM-8 PM All Participants-Belfry High School (27678 US 119 Belfry, Kentucky)
Preregistered participants may pick up their bib and shirt until 8 PM. Last minute registrants may register on-site or on their mobile phone devices. Volunteers will help assist you in finding your bib#. You should receive an email from us with your designated bib #. You can also inform us about which race you are racing and your last name.
Runners should receive their bib, pins, race shirt, and meal ticket.
Pasta Dinner: 4pm-8pm Devil Anse and Randall McCoy will be there to greet everyone Day of Race - June 12, 2027 ***NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION for all races!**
***Full MARATHON*** *
Start at Food City at 7:00 AM * Address (28093 Thompson Plaza, South Williamson, KY 41503) * Race day bib pickup there at Food City at the start line until 6:40 AM * No Race Day registration * Race begins at 7:00am * Finish line address (101 E 2nd Ave, Williamson, WV 25661) * Point to point course
***Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon***
Start at Food City at 7:05 AM * Address (28093 Thompson Plaza, South Williamson, KY 41503) * Race day bib pickup there at Food City at the start line until 6:45 AM * No Race Day registration * Race begins at 7:00am * Finish line address (City Hall, 306 McCoy Alley, Matewan, WV, 25678)
***River Road Half Marathon***
Start at 7:30 AM in Matewan, WV * Addresss ( - 37.623277, -82.168235 (Right across the Replica Matewan Depot) The race is on route 49 road. Use the coordiations. There will be sign placed there saying, "River Road Starting line" * Race day bib pickup there at the start line until 7:10am * No Race Day registration * Finish line address (101 E 2nd Ave, Williamson, WV 25661) * Race begins at 7:30am
***Jeannie Rivard 5k***
Start and finishes in Downtown Williamson, WV. * Address of start and finish line - Community Trust Bank Drive Thru (101 E 2nd Ave, Williamson, WV 25661) * No Race Day Registration * Participants can pickup race bib at the start line area there in Downtown Williamson from 7am-7:30am * Race will begin at 7:45am
