Historic Drawbridge Running Festival

Sat November 16, 2024 St Michaels, MD 21663 US Directions

Last Minute Notes

We are excited to host you tomorrow for the 2021 Historic Drawbridge Half. We just wanted to go over some of the major points, and let you know, if you JUST registered, that all of our past emails are in an EMAIL tab, at the top of the race page.

PACKET PICKUP
TODAY from 10am to 7pm at TriCycle and Run (929 S. Talbot Street, St Michaels)
RACE MORNING PACKET PICKUP is tomorrow (obviously) from 6am to 730am at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (213 N Talbot Street, St Michaels, MD).

SHUTTLES
Shuttles will begin to leave the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum lot (213 N Talbot Street) at 7am, until 730am. Participants are expected to ride the shuttle, BUT if they are being dropped off at the Wylder, all spectators (and drivers) should park over at the Tilghman Elementary School and walk over to the start line. ATHLETES CANNOT LEAVE VEHICLES AT THE START AREA

PORTOS
There are actual bathrooms on the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for use. There are also 8 portos at the start line. There is a single porto around Mile 4 and Mile 8 on the course.

MORNING CLOTHES
When you check in you will be given a large, clear bag, to put morning clothes in. With start temperatures in the high 30s, we recommend you wear some warm clothes to the start area, as you may be outside for just a few minutes. You will drop the clear bags in the appropriate bin (so it's easier for us at the finish line to sort them) and will find all of your gear waiting for you at the finish! Keys are ok... maybe a cellphone... try to leave your wallet in your car.... We will have control over the bags, but still, keep your valuables in your car at the finish line, if you can.

AID STATIONS
About every 1.5 miles. Water, Gatorade. Every other (Station 2, 4, 6) will have gels too. Porto at Mile 4 and Mile 8

Questions? Send us an email to info@tcreventmanagement.com and we'll be happy to help! See you all today (or tomorrow) for packet pickup!
