The Hofbrauhaus Half 10K and 5K is Sunday, August 2, 2026
- The Half Marathon starts at 7:00 am.
- The 5K and 10K start at 8:00 am.
The race begins at Hofbräuhaus Cleveland.

2026 Registration Info and Fees:
The earlier you commit to running or walking the Hofbräuhaus Half Marathon, 10k, or 5k, the lower your registration fee will be.
Tiered pricing is in place to support participants who register early, with the caps built into each block.
Once each tier is sold out, the prices are automatically bumped to Tier 3.
We offer 3 options for deferrals if you can no longer participate. More information HERE.
Online Registration closes 5 minutes before each race on race morning, Sunday, August 2, 2026, or until Sold Out. A paper entry form is available to print/mail to Hermes Sports at the bottom of the page if paying by cash/check.
5K - Will sell out at 800 Runners
Tier 1 - Registrants 1 - 550 - $40.00
Tier 2 - Registrants 551 - 800 - $50.00
10K - Will sellout at 500 Runners
Tier 1 - Registrants 1 - 100 - $45.00
Tier 2 - Registrants 101 - 350 - $50.00
Tier 3 - Registrants 351 - 500 - $60.00
Half Marathon - Will sellout at 500 Runners
Tier 1 - Registrants 1-200 - $75.00
Tier 2 - Registrants 201 - 500 - $85.00
Yes, there is a processing fee when registering online
Participants in the half-marathon must be at least 13 years of age on race day.
There is no age requirement for the 10k and 5k.
All registrations will receive confirmation via e-mail from Run Sign Up.

Yes, you can pick up your shirt at our office the following week - we do not mail shirts unless otherwise stated. Please call the office ahead of time to let us know you are coming at (216) 623-9933.

It is not required, but it’s always a good idea to bring it.
We highly recommend that you pick up your bib and shirt at the packet pick-up you choose; however, they will also be available at the early packet pick-up on race day.

Yes, both can be picked up by/for family and friends. It’s always a good idea to bring your confirmation e-mail.
This race is an officially timed event using the disposable My Laps BibTag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and must remain adhered for the duration of the event.
Results will be posted directly after the race on this website. Click on the Results tab to see your results. You may need to refresh your browser to view it.

Yes, we will have awards for the Top 3 Overall Male and Female runners, and 3-deep Male and Female in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over
The Overall award winners will be announced on race morning. All age group award winners must go to the awards tent to claim their prize.
You can pick up the awards 30 days after the race at the Hermes office located at 2425 W. 11th Street, Suite #2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Awards will NOT be mailed, and please contact hbohac@hermescleveland.com with any questions!
Parking is available near Hofbräuhaus Cleveland, surrounding lots, & street meters are free on the weekends.

You may walk the course. You may be asked to use the sidewalk for safety reasons.
3 Hours
There are water stops every 2 miles along the route for each event. There are 6 water stops spread throughout the half-marathon course. Gels and Gatorade are at mile 6 and 8 water stops.
Yes, but only for the Half Marathon.
You can view your favorite runner from many areas on the course. Please see the course maps to find a great location. Course maps can be found on the website under the Race FAQ tab.
Yes, but please be cautious of traffic and other runners.
No, we do not allow dogs in the half-marathon, 10K, or 5K for this event.
Dogs are also not allowed into the after-party.
Yes, we do allow strollers to be pushed in the race. We ask that you start the race near the back.
Hurt, and can't run, just not a runner... but want to be involved in the most festive race in Northeast Ohio? Join us as a volunteer and help bring a smile to a runner's face. Volunteers receive a beer (if 21 or older) and a brat after their shift is over.

Transfers
You can transfer your registration:

To Virtual — switch to the virtual event and run on your own time.

To Another Runner — free option via RunSignUp (no direct bib swaps).

To Another Hermes Race — must complete by July 20
