Join us this Memorial Day as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who lost their lives while serving our country.
The Memorial Day 5K/10K/15K is a meaningful way to pay tribute to our fallen heroes—by gathering as a community, celebrating their legacy, and moving forward in their honor. We are offering all Active and Retired Military a *Complimentary race (5K, 10K or 15K)" on May 25, 2026. (Military I.D. of the athlete must be shown to pick up bib.)
Join us on the trails along the Boise River starting & finishing at Ann Morrison Park.
Participants may choose from the 5K, 10K, or 15K distances, each offering a patriotic race-day experience filled with purpose and pride. All athletes who cross the finish line will receive a commemorative finisher medal, a lasting reminder of the day and the heroes it represents.
To recognize outstanding performances, awards will be presented to the top three men and women in the traditional five-year age groups for all three race distances.

Memorial Day 5K/10K/15K is proud to have Western Adaptive Veteran Education Snowsports (WAVES) as the 2026 Charity Partner.
WAVES is an organization of volunteers that are dedicated to fostering snowsports opportunities at Idaho resorts. We empower and enrich the lives of veterans through sharing the exhilaration of snowsports. Our organization provides adaptive equipment, ski & snowboard instruction, and therapeutic experiences for those whom have sacrificed so much.
Their mission is to empower veterans through snowsports education. They provide opportunities for veterans to overcome limitations, foster healing, and build camaraderie on the slopes. Mountains and snowsports transform lives, build resilience, and ignite a sense of passion & purpose. Through instruction with our supportive community of trained staff we hope to awaken a lifelong love for adventure in snowsports and the outdoors.

Volunteer
Volunteering for this race can earn you a $50 Visa Gift Card.
Here's how it works: 1) You sign up to volunteer on the Volunteer page. 2) You recruit 3 (three) others - 15 years or older - to volunteer for this race and have them sign up on the Volunteer page and put Your Name when it asks who recruited them. 3) You and your recruits show up on race day and volunteer for the entire race. 4) After the race, if all qualifications are met, Five Star NTP will mail you your $50 Visa Gift card.

Course & Timing
All three events will start and finish in the Parking Lot of the Sprayberry Square Shopping Center on the corner of Sandy Plains & E. Piedmont. All routes are an out and back, and will be run entirely on E. Piedmont Rd.
All events will have a timed start & finish.
Water Stations
We will have Self-Serve water stations approximately every 1.5 miles. If you are wanting to run fast and not stop, you might want to bring your own personal hydration.
Pacing
Participants will need to finish with at least a 16 min/mile pace.
Groups and Teams
Running is more F-U-N together, even if we're far apart!
Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors or family and participate as a TEAM. Your TEAM can be local or across the states; virtual participants will have their shirts shipped! Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration, discounts below.
5+: $2.50 off
11+: 3.75 off
21+: $5.00 off
51+: $6.25 off

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.imm
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
Packet Pickup
We always do packet pickup on race morning starting one hour prior to the start of the race. If we have an early pickup available, it will be added here.
