We challenge you to Run (or walk or bike or wheel) the L: the total distance of the lines that comprise Chicago’s elevated public transit system. We’ll give you 8 weeks to tackle 131 miles*. Do it solo or grab a running buddy and divide and conquer this unique challenge.
You can complete the individual segments at your own pace throughout the 8 weeks or challenge yourself to complete the 131 mile challenge in as few weeks as you can. Simply log your time and distance after you complete your activity until you reach the total distance of the L - 131 miles. Since this is a virtual challenge, you can run, walk, bike, or wheel wherever and whenever you want!

*Finisher medal will be mailed to participants who complete all 131 miles during the challenge timeline. Challenge Boxes will be mailed upon the completion of the Challenge, beginning the week of 5/31
