Description
Due to the cancelation of the in-person race on October 25th, the race has been converted to a fully virtual race and the deadline to submit running times has been extended to Monday, November 1st at 10:00 AM CST.
The 5K Run for Cancer Research is an annual event that takes place on the Monday morning of the ASTRO (American Society for Radiation Oncology) convention. The race, sponsored by Radiation Business Solutions (RBS), is for adult convention attendees and is not open to the public. RBS incurs all costs for the race so that all proceeds (sponsorships and registrations) benefit cancer research. As in years past, the beneficiary of the funds raised from the 2021 5K will be the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI).
