Team Challenge Information
Academic and Corporate Team Challenges are being held once again this year, and winning teams will be determined by the average time of the top 3 runners as in years past. Virtual runners can complete a 5K course of their choosing at different locations and times and still be on a team.
- All team members must sign up with their team during registration in order to be included on the team; you cannot join a team the morning of the race.
- Virtual runners must complete a 5K course of their choosing no later than 9:30 a.m. CST on November 1st.
- Runners should use their own timing device (such as a fitness tracker or smartwatch), and then post their results to the RunSignUp website upon completion.
- Virtual courses can be run and results uploaded at any time, but results must be posted to the RunSignUp website no later than 10:00 a.m. CST on November 1st.
While photos are not required, we encourage everyone to have fun while participating remotely and celebrate together by sharing photos on our website. Virtual runners can upload selfie pics on your RunSignUp results page, or email them to the 5K Coordinator at: 5KCoordinator@RadiationBusiness.com.
This race is for charity so virtual finish times are accepted on the honor system. Team participant times will count towards your team's combined time. The winning academic team will also receive a $1,000 donation to their institution’s scholarship fund.
