Event Information
What? You're looking for beautiful scenery, great cookies, the best after-ride meal, and all the vidiot fun a stooge could want? Well, then don't be a knucklehead or a victim of soicumstance. You better not miss the 29th annual Tour de Stooges on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Lebanon, Illinois. Miss it, and we'll moiderize youse!
The rolling countryside has great scenery, picturesque farms, fields of wildflowers on lightly traveled country lanes. As usual, this ride features the best rest stop treats around. Yes, our Missouri friends might need to drive a little, but the trip down Interstates 70 or 64 is about the same as traveling from downtown to West County. Plus, the trip is worth it — it'll be a ride to remember! After all that pedaling, there's an all-you-can eat hot meal with lots of variety served in Ames Dining Hall at McKendree University.
We're excited to continue the Moe Metric Century, and have routes for cyclists of all levels, whether you want to push yourself or take it easy. After the ride, we'll spread out, eat, and watch Three Stooges shorts until the cows come home. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!
Check the Ride Info tab at the top of the page for more information on routes, rider support (SAG support, rest stop timing), getting there, and more!
ROUTE UPDATE: FLOODING
Due to flooding, we have adjusted the routes. Please ensure you are familiar with the routes HERE. If you downloaded routes before noon on Friday, May 1, you may need to download the routes again.
Event Schedule
- 6:30 a.m. Check-in and late registration opens
- 7 - 8:30 a.m. Open start window
- 11 a.m. Aimes Dining Hall opens for lunch
- 2 p.m. Event closes
Choosing Your Start Time
Open start means you can head out any time between 7 am and 8:30 a.m.
We've timed our SAG and Rest Stop support to support riders leaving during that window. Riders leaving before or after the open start window may not receive SAG support and may find Rest Stops closed.
When choosing the time to start your ride, consider your route choice and pace. We encourage riders who want to enjoy the longer routes at an enjoyable party pace to leave near the beginning of the open start window. If you plan to race through the shorter routes, consider leaving at the end of the start window so you don't have to wait around for lunch to start.
What Your Registration Includes
- Clearly marked routes
- Turn-by-turn navigation via Ride with GPS
- Stocked rest stops with hydration and snacks
- SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles on route to provide basic mechanical and first aid support
- Post-ride lunch at the Ames Dining Hall at McKendree University until 2 p.m.
- Stooges-inspired silliness throughout!
