Join us Saturday, February 13, 2027, for the 21st running of the Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon at Southern Illinois Airport in Murphysboro, Illinois!

🌎 A CUP-FREE RACE
We're proud to be a cupless event! Rather than using disposable cups, our volunteers will provide water pitchers so runners can refill their own bottles at the aid stations. Please bring a refillable bottle with you.

🏃 The Course

The Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon is primarily run on asphalt, with some sections of chip-and-seal and concrete. The course has a little over 200 feet of elevation gain, with a few gentle hills along the way.
There are three aid stations, located approximately at miles 3.5, 6–7, and 9.5. Runners will pass each aid station twice.
Additional restroom facilities are available near the start/parking area and near the turnaround at Hickory Ridge Golf Course.
