Hops for Hope 5K is a twist on the traditional 5K! The event is timed and the course is certified, whether you are a runner or walker this event is for you. You can take a casual stroll with your friends and sip on beer samples throughout the course or you can run to get your best time and skip the beer stops (discounted price) or grab and go.
The 5K will start at the beautiful Mount Saint Mary Park in St. Charles and head towards Geneva on the scenic path and end back at Mount Saint Mary Park for the Award Ceremony!
THAT'S A WEIRD TWIST?! We think you mean delicious and fun! Throughout the 5K there will be Refueling Stations (Beer Stops) featuring local craft breweries handing out 3-ounce beer samples to runners.
*All runners must be 21 years or older and show a valid ID day of the race. The Award Ceremony will feature a live band, more beer and food!
Price increases on Race Day: $50 5K, $40 5K NO BEER-WATER ONLY, $25 AWARDS CEREMONY *credit/debit only - NO CASH ACCEPTED (Per Park District Ordinance)
Who is Project Mobility?
Project Mobility is nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Their mission is to provide the freedom of mobility to children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities through adaptive cycling. In 2016 Project Mobility traveled to 25 different states serving over 2,000 wounded soldiers and held over 50 day camps for children with special needs and donated over $50,000 in adaptive cycling equipment! For 2017 they plan on surpassing last years numbers. Hops for Hope 5K will help them reach their goal by starting the year off right! Our goal is to net $15,000! This is were we need YOUR help!

Awards will be given to the top three male and female of each age group!
Results will be shown for the following age categories: 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+

Purpose: The purpose of Hops for Hope 5K is to raise awareness and funding to support Project Mobility and their mission. Project Mobility is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides the freedom of mobility through adaptive cycling to children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities.
Each adaptive bike ranges from $3,000 to $5,000 depending on the abilities of the individual. Your support in the form of a sponsorship will bring us closer to our goal.
Where Does My Money Go? 100% of the net proceeds from this event go directly to the Project Mobility. Our goal is to net $15,000! This is were we need YOUR help!

We are so thankful of our Packet Pick-Up sponsor - The Evergreen Pub and Grill! They have a beautiful outdoor patio/bar that is calling your name! Make sure to stay for a drink (or two) and have a late lunch or dinner! Each person will receive $5 off their bill when you spend $25 or more on food.
